National Company “Kazsatnet" Joint-Stock Company is created according to the Decision of the Government  of the Republic of Kazakhstan,  August, 8th, 2006 № 746  “Concerning creation of "National Company “Kazsatnet" Joint-Stock Company” in the form of joint-stock company with absolute participation of the Government in the authorized capital stock.

Areas of business:

• implementation of short and long term programs in the area of national satellite communication and broadcasting systems of the Republic of Kazakhstan
• designing and operating of satellite network for data transmission for government agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan
• data transmission services to support "E-government" program
• development of highly effective information technologies designed to solve socio-economic problems and maintain the policy of uniform information security
• research and engineering design to develop high technologies for data transmission
